The Joyful Lessons of Curiosity
Willfully exploring possibilities
What if I were curious today?
What if I laid down my rigid expectations of progress and productivity? What if I chose to enjoy the journey instead of meticulously chasing the so-called goal?
My attitude and my day, my partner, and my body would all be open and uplifted.
Curiosity seems to be the portal for joy.
Just for fun, let’s play the curiosity game.

Maybe today, I can enjoy the rain. It’s sound a lulling cradle of nature’s progress.
Maybe today, I can write without intention. Just for fun, I think I’ll write a story.
Maybe today, I won’t make a list or cross anything off. Just for today. Just for curiosity’s sake.
Maybe today, I can listen to my body — feeling the feelings that constrict my throat and haunt my dreams.
Just for fun, just for today.
Let’s play a game of curiosity where boundless possibility reigns.
